Scorrendo sul display la mia pagina Instagram posso tenermi aggiornata sulle novità dei giocattoli e del design for kids seguendo gli account delle più note aziende al mondo, ma anche scoprire nuovi brand interessanti e non da ultimo entrare in contatto con gli utenti finali del mio design, ovvero i bambini che useranno i miei giochi, attraverso la voce dei loro genitori.
Oggi ho scoperto il profilo di "Une maman loutre", mamma di lingua francese di due bimbi, una bambina di 5 anni ed un bambino di 2: oltre alla pagina Instagram ha un coloratissimo blog in cui, fra articoli a tema puericoltura, ricette e consigli per gli altri genitori recensisce tanti giochi, dopo averli testati con i suoi due "cuccioli".
Con grande soddisfazione, ho letto la recensione che ha scritto sul gioco che ho progettato per beleduc, Cookie Doo (che trovate anche sul mio sito: https://www.federicamonzioc.com/cookie-doo): dopo aver introdotto il prodotto ed averne spiegato il regolamento, ne prende in analisi i punti di forza e le debolezze, illustra ciò che è emerso dalla sessione di gioco con i suoi figli e dà il proprio feedback in merito a vari aspetti che lo caratterizzano.
La recensione è molto positiva, il gioco è piaciuto molto a questa mamma ed ai suoi bambini sia per le grafiche accattivanti (a tema biscotti, gnam!), sia per le regole semplici ma originali e soprattutto per l'aspetto educativo: Cookie Doo è infatti un gioco formato XXL che introduce i più piccoli al mondo della matematica, addolcendo questo incontro con dolci biscotti colorati.
Da parte mia sono davvero felice di poter leggere una recensione tanto accurata e tanto positiva per un prodotto che ho elaborato a partire dal concept, fino alla messa in produzione, seguendone ogni aspetto.

Scrolling through my Instagram page I can keep up with the last trends and news of design for kids and toys following the accounts of well known companies around the worls, but also discover new interesting brands and not least getting in touch with the final users of my design, that is, kids that will play with my toys, throught their parents' voices.
Today I discovered "Une maman loutre"'s account, a French-speaking mum of 2 kids, a 5 years old girl and a 2 years old boy: besides her Instagram page she has a colourful blog where, among articles about parenthood, recipes and suggestions for other parents she writes reviews about many games, after testing them with her "Little and baby Otters".
With great pride, I read the review the wrote about a game I designed for beleduc, Cookie Doo (which you can also find on my website: https://en.federicamonzioc.com/cookie-doo): after introducing the product and explaining its rules, she analizes its strenghts and weaknesses, shows what came up during the play session with her sons and gives her feedback about different aspects of the game.
The review is highly positive, this mother and her children did like the game, because of its appealing illustrations (cookie-themed, yum!), for its simple but original rules, and for the educational point of view as well: Cookie Doo is an XXL size game which introduces small kids to mathematics, and to make this encounter a bit sweeter it uses colourful cookies.
I am really happy to read such a detailed and positive review for an item I designed from its concept to mass production, managing every aspect of it.
